    There are some good songs on here BUT Lars is definitely playing on empty trash cans… James is singing aggressively. But most of the guitar is good.

    Honestly experiment excuse or not I don’t see how anyone can think this garbage is listenable. At least the band has been trying to essentially apologize for this mess ever since it came out.

    I really don’t get the hate for this album. Sure the snare is pretty laughable but it’s not even a big issue once you get used to it. St. Anger is my 3rd favorite Metallica album and I will defend it until the day I die.
