LOVE love love love love this guy. Have continued to follow him all these years. Pure genius. But... why do all of these songs sound like he's in a tunnel?

For those who don’t know Sananda Maitreya used to go by the name “Terrence Trent D’arby.” Say what you want about the man’s personal choices, the music is amazing, his talent is undeniable. I never stopped following his music. A solid album from this fan’s perspective. Enjoy! Thank you Sananda.

Everything that this guy touches shines. Since the first album (probably the best debut pop/r&b album ever) he's been consistently making outstanding music, brilliant vocals, original songwriting. Maybe he has produced the same gold a dozen times after, but the cruelty of the comparison never gave him a chance. Maybe it's time you do. 25 years later, TTD, oops, Sananda, still owns one of the most beautiful voices ever.
