I have yet to see "Elemental", but this original score really takes you on a journey, which is one of the best compliments I can give. The music is extremely visual, beautifully composed and makes me want to rush out to see the film. H. Scott Salinas' moody compositions pique your interest immediately and he brings something new to the table with every cue.

I was fortunate enough to enjoy the LA showing of 'Elemental' and was blown away. This documentary's score gently guides your soul through sonic majesty while witnessing three epic stories journey as each one iives their absolute truth. This beautiful score allows your heart the trust to not only listen to each story but feel the relentless passion and love that fills every moment. Powerful score+ film.

It was a unique experience to watch a beautifully-shot documentary on the big screen with an original orchestral score. The music complements the range of emotions all the characters face - and the film's overall feeling of inspiration. Both the film and music are gorgeous and highly recommended.

I'll be adding this to my soundtrack playlist: "The Lives of Others" and David Shire's "The Conversation". I saw the film is playing in NYC, gonna catch the show. I've heard it won't disappoint. I can't imagine it will with this score.
  • Who says docs can't have an amazing score?

Stumbled upon this rather dynamic score because it was featured in the iTunes soundtrack section. I didn't recognize the movie and realized why… It's a documentary film (I rarely watch docs) and I haven't even seen it yet, but don't be fooled… this is a 1st class score that can easily stand side by side with any of the 'big' feature film soundtracks! More of this please, doc world…
