Something Beautiful

I was soooo not disappointed!!!!

I had been waiting for some new material from Oleander to come out for quite a while. Being from the Bay Area, and Oleander hailing from Sacramento I got to hear them on the radio more often than other areas. When I did hear they were heading into the studio after quite a hiatus I was a bit skeptical on what direction they might go. After hearing their new material I was immediately blown away that they had picked up exactly where they had left off. With a great blend of Melody and heavy Oleander has definitely delivered. If you are a fan of the earlier material you will really enjoy this new album. I highly recommend it.

The lyrics are painfully Generics, on every single song, the sound is there which is the only reason why I gave it a 2 star instead of a 1, but the lyrics are terrible

At first I listened to this album once through and liked only the songs that came out as singles way before the release. It sounded like just another generic rock album. But then I kept hearing the album over and over again and it got better with each repeat. Awesome album!

This is great from start to finish. I've been listening to it daily since April and I love listening to it as much if not more now. If you're a fan of great music with great lyrics then this is a must-have!

I bought this album the first few days it came out (4-5 months ago). I've probably listened to it 60 times. Every song is either a 9 or a 10 and i'm serious most songs are a 10. Really bitten, excellent music. NO Brainer if you like rock. Do it. Buy it. You'll love it.

Vocal delivery is a little different than their previous stuff but a solid album start to finish. Rocks where it needs to and mellows out where it needs to. And it sounds NOTHING like Nickelback! Some people are deaf apparently.

Seriously, one of the most underrated rock bands ever. Haven't lost a step during their hiatus. Saw these guys over 10 years ago, had to go on crutches after breaking my foot. The lead singer actually saw us leaving, got off his tour bus and even called up his gf/wife to have us say hi since he thought it was so cool I went to the show with a broke foot! Great guys and great musicians!

This album is great! I love Oleander! So talented and appreciative of their fans!

It's about time they made some new music. Great stuff!
