Since (Get Away, Jordan), Sig Sound went retro but since Here We Are Again, EHSS has gotten back to their roots with their high energy, joyful fun and strong messages that hit home, now with Glorious Day the group hits the red button on the full energy cycle with songs of When The Saints Go Marching In and Water Walkin' God and with the heartwarming songs of Paul Harkey's Scars In The Hands Of Jesus and Devin's main song That's Why and While I Was A Sinner and of course Doug's touching song Sometimes I Wonder, EHSS is still alive and Movin' Up

This is a wonderful CD from what I've heard so far. Good songs! I just have one question: What is up with the cover?? This is Signature Sound, not some hip hop band... 😐 Anyway, the music is great:)

I'm not much into Southern Gospel, but I thought hat the songs are very good and has a different sound that would appeal to the contemporary fans.

This album is a thoughtful and heartfelt balance of traditional songs, songs previously recorded by other artists, and new songs. Each one is a musical representation of the many facets of God; and they are arranged like a mosaic to reveal the heart of the Lord. They bring laughter and they bring tears, and leave the listener uplifted, encouraged and reminded of why we have chosen to serve Jesus. "When the Saints Go Marching In" and "Two Coats” are traditional songs, made fresh by new arrangements by Wayne Haun. "When the Saints Go Marching In” has a great slightly jazz feel that sets you toes to tapping in celebration of that day when all of God’s people will be together. "Two Coats” was given a wonderful Blue Grass arrangement that can't help but raise a person's spirit when listening. "Glorious Day", (previously recorded by Casting Crowns,) is given a completely new arrangement that echoes the joy and exuberance of our forgiveness and redemption. "Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of The Lord," always a fun song, reminds us of the wonderful Statler Bros but with that Signature Sound slant that adds an additional measure of joy. "W hen Jesus Breaks the Morning," written by Bill Gaither, receives a traditional quartet treatment, flavored with that Signature Sound touch. Paul Harkey's rich and expressive bass voice is featured on "The Scars in the Hand of Jesus", (written by Marijohn Wilken in 1978 and recorded by many artists), and conveys the love the Lord has for us in a way that goes straight to the heart. The each of the four new songs written by Wayne Haun, Joel Lindsay and Enrie Haase, are uniquely expressive God's love, mercy and grace. "Shhh .. Be Still" has the sound and feel of the deeply moving spirituals of days gone by and invites us to "be amazed again by grace." The acoustic arrangement of "Sometimes I Wonder" poignantly asks those questions we all have about heaven and our loved ones who have gone before us. "While I Was a Sinner" beautifully helps us to not take the Lord's grace and mercy for granted with a rich arrangement of harmony. And my personal favorite, "That's Why" featuring Devin McGlamery's heartfelt and emotionally deep lead voice. evokes that time in each believer's life when Jesus turned our lives around with His loving care "not to condemn but atone," reminding us why we love Him so. As was said at the beginning of this review, this album is beautifully balanced and heartfelt. I've listened to it again and again, and each time, I find another gem that makes my heart glad. I'm so grateful for the depth of talent, creativity and love for God and His people that was put into this project. In a music genre that tends to be less than welcoming of innovation and new musical styles, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound are remaining true their roots in So. Gospel and to the gifts the Lord has given to them.

Great job guys! Been a EHSS fan for several years now and ya'll continue to impress. I'm a 23 year old grad student/college football coach and have very stressful days because of my schedule. I came home and bought the album and it was just what I needed. I've been listening to the album almost nonstop since I bought it. I love the version of Glorious Day and I really like Water Walking God. I know there are not a lot of people my age who appreciate this kind of music, but this is a group that has the chance to appeal to all kinds of people and age groups. Hope you guys can make it down to central Arkansas sometime soon!

Granted the cover photo is not what you would expect of a southern gospel group, but the music certainly is! Signature Sound is carrying the torch of the Stamps, Statesmen and Cathedrals with another high energy set of foot tapping music. From the original songs written by Ernie Haase to the traditional songs we've known and loved for years, this CD gives a good mix and every one a hit. Why 5 stars? Because I didn't have 6 as an option!

I love this CD. Although I agree that they are changing a little bit. I love when they "entertain". But, also love when they sing from their hearts about our Father! Still a"5" star for me....
