I got this album in the recommendation box thing. This music takes me back to when I was a little kid with my Gameboy. And yes, it is sad that not only this soundtrack, but this entire game is usually overlooked. Highly recommend.

One of the best Final Fantasy soundtracks--too bad no one knows it. Atmospheric, melodic, and beautiful, this soundtrack is overshadowed by other Final Fantasy titles, which probably fits hand-in-hand with the lack of the game's exposure. This is one of Uematsu's most consistent works, and each song is vivid, distinct, and worth a listen to. While many of the Final Fantasy albums have a handful of amazing songs and then the less-thans, this album has almost no disappointments. Plus, there's the added bonus that the music is extraordinarily complementary with the game itself. Download "Town Theme," "Spreading Grand Wings," "Home, Sweet, Home" and ESPECIALLY "Clash on the Big Bridge" and "Dear Friends."

amazing what Uematsu was able to do with this soundtrack, standouts being Pirates Ahoy, Fire Ship, Mambo de Chocobo, Ahead on our way (Op. theme), The New Origin (end theme), Harvest, To the North Mountain well hell the whole thing is fantastic! one of the best and most overlooked FF games, this soundtrack is definitely worth the listen if you don't mind the dated SNES music (which is still great!)
  • An often overlooked gem

The FFV osv is often overshadowed by the music of FFIV and VI, the two other snes Final Fantasy games. Admittedly, the music of this game isn't as memorable as those two, but I honestly think that's because the amount of people who have actually played this game is small compared to those who have the others, since it was never released in America until FF Anthology for the Playstation, long after its initial release on the Snes in Japan. It has several catchy tunes like Pirates Ahoy! which makes me want to be a pirate, sealed away, the battle theme, and to the north mountain, and the main theme and lenna's theme are as beautiful as any other final fantasy theme. also this osv includes the debut of gilgamesh's theme and gogo's theme . While not as good as VI, the music is wonderful nonetheless and, like the game, should not be overlooked.
  • Main Theme AND Four Hearts!!!

Such little and wonderful songs! From the pride in Four Hearts, to the intensity of Battle 1, or the meloncoly of Reina's Theme, FFV OST is a good soundtrack for one of the best Final Fantasies!
