Just saw these guys live in Spring Green and it was nothing less that 100% full blown boogie. An incredible group of players who deserve a listen by everyone who appreciates the solid approach of say Danzig back in the day but many songs border on elements of The Doors.

I've seen them play live and their shows are a blast. They sound just as good live as on the album, and that says a lot. I love the album. THANKS!

Spirit of Minneapolis is an excellent follow-up to the 4onthefloor previous album "4x4". Metaphorically speaking - it's almost as if "4x4" was the non-stop tour of shows & late night parties and the "#SoMPLS" is the day after - when you think of what decisions you've made. That's the Blues aspect of the album. However, the STOMP slowly builds in a number of songs - kind of like staying up too late the night before and then venturing out to live your life with friends and starting all over again. I really enjoy the new album and it's definitely on my daily playlist. Overall, I'd have to say #SoMPLS is a more technical album and a must listen to those who enjoy good ol rock n roll music.
