Arthur is an amazing musician and plays music that anyone can respect. This CD is great and if you ever get the chance to see him perform live don't miss out, his live looping is the best I have ever seen or heard.

This a a great CD to listen to if you need a pick-me-up. You can't help but listen and just feel good. It's such a mix of different genres that you can't even compare it to anything, but that is part of what makes it so great. And he is so great live, especially when he does his looping show. I saw him at the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest and it was the most incredible thing I had ever seen.
  • Arthur Lee does it again

With heartfelt lyrics and a seriously funky groove Arthur Lee has always had a devoted following in the midwest, but with this latest release Arthur has expanded westward to the Rockies and beyond. It's time for eveyone else to find out what the Midwest has been hiding.
  • The one-man Afro-funk jam extravaganza.....

this guy is one of the most original and talented songwriters to come out of the midwest in a looooong time. A combination of afro-funk-folk-psychedelic-looping-rock that not only is an original sound (something of a novelty these days it seems....), but if you're not dancing by the end of the first song, you may have problems. I remember seeing him at a starbucks doing solo shows back in 2000. He's also been part of the chicago jam scene for a long time, guesting with Mr. Blotto and Hello Dave amongst others. If you're looking for good music that you can enjoy year round, pick up this CD.
