From start to finish this album is amazing! beautiful vocals , meaningful lyrics, fantastic production.

I love Ladytron, and have enjoyed their work for some years now. This album, though unique in many regards seems to breathe much of the magic that makes Ladytron such a fantastic electronic music band. It harkens a bit more to work on Velocifero and The Witching Hour, shedding some of the retro style found on the last album. There are some really great songs on here worthy of being given a single or ep. If you like Ladytron or just good electronic music with a bit more "texture" this is the album to buy.

This album has literally been on repeat for the last two weeks. I love it!

I took a risk and pledged on this record on PledgeMusic when Helen Marnie first announced going solo. I love Ladytron, but Helen's never done a solo recording so I wasn't sure what the end product would sound like. I got the CD in the mail from the UK - and I loved every song. Stand outs - The Hunter (great anthem), Hearts on Fire, and the lovely, lovely haunting Submariner (could be my fav track on album). Big shout outs to Daniel Hunt who produced this album. Amazing work. Fresh music for my ears!

WOW! How can u top off years of Ladytron… With this amazing record! Perfect vocals and dreamy tunes with familiar and recognizable sounds but with a new soul… Just awesome! Heard it first on an internet radio and I just had to buy the whole album!

Helen Marnie is awesome... Thanks for this album... Please consider doing another one...

I knew that the solo release from Marnie would be good. I just didn't expect it to be this good. It's more emotional than any Ladytron album. Laura is just epic. What a wonderful surprise this album is. It's just too bad that because she is using synths instead of acoustic guitar the album won't be taken seriously by many. That's the plight of most electronic music I guess.

Marnie's debut album is gorgeous. Helen's voice is so lovely and haunting; she will draw you in with her spellbinding voice in an instant. I highly recommend Crystal World. ^-^ Favorite tracks: The Hunter, We Are the Sea, Hearts on Fire, Sugarland, Submariner, and Gold.
