Peter Mayer's music is sung straight from his soul and lives in my heart. I've never come across an artist that so speaks to the reasons we are here in this existence. For anyone searching for the meaning of life, forget the movie "The Secret" or "What the Bleep". Listen to Peter Mayer.

This CD is an excellent collection of Peter's imagination taking him global and universal. The backup mix is varied richly by song, with great use of an occassional accordian. I struggle to name any music 5 stars until I've lived with it for years, but Blue Boat Home as a song is already there. Peter takes an old Hyfrydol hymn, puts an unique beat to it and writes a song for the ages, but why oh why when he records a choir signing it, did he stop at the chorus? Other songs like Elijah Jones, are rich in Christian symbolism. You can tell that Peter knows where his future lies but doesn't get preachy. Brown Country Fair will hold up longterm to Staines Roseville Fair. Job well done.
