Beautiful Monster

From the opening song this album catches you, in a good way. In the first listen I was captured, in the 2nd and 3rd listenings I grew to thinking this might be the best album of 2013, a definite Desert Island disk. Great production quality (I have a killer stereo system), great vocals and great (and personal) songwriting.

Dilana is at her souful best here. More introspective than Inside Out but just as good.

Dilana is an amazing talented singer/songwriter. Her songs are written about her life experiences which we can all relate to in some way. She sings everything from Janis Joplin to Gospel music. This CD is by far the BEST she has released. Do yourself a favor and listen to this soulful wonderful music.

Didnt get this from Itunes, bought if from her directly as a wedding. Listen!!! Just buy this album...just click buy. Dont question just do it. The vocals alone with hauntingly delicious. But the overall sound is epic...again...JUST BUY IT!

I don't care for anything on this at all. There is one son on it that is so so to me, if I heard it I could listen to the song all the way through but I would never go seeking the song out. The rest of it I do not like at. I agree with one of the other person she is good at covers and rocking roll but that's about. I do also believed she has peeked. Sad to say since she does have allot of talent, but I guess that is why she is forced to self fund herself.

Great songs/voice and talent on Dilana's new Cd. "Day by Day" is a Hit. Period!. All the songs have a Great Story and being told by Dilanas raspy but buttery voice is unique and pulls me in… !…. Buy it now…

Sadly, for me this was a long anticipated album that falls ever so short! Dilana is a rocker... this is not the album she should be doing. She doesn't have the voice to deliver the slow songs. The lyrics are so so... nothing to make me really want to listen. I was such a fan when she burst upon the scene with Rockstar. I thought she was the best and couldn't wait for more. Unfortunately, it seems she peaked there. She really shines doing cover songs. I stillisten and watch them. Sorry, girl. This didn't do it for me. Yeah, I know... here comes the hate responses from her fans and her but it's one mans opinion and I'm entitled to it.

This album is filled with amazing lyrics and vocals. Each time I listen to the album I love it more and more. I found the definition of poetry and it said Literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm .... yup that says it well. Dilana has musical poetry to tell her stories. Love the new album!

Simply the best! This album is freaking good. I recommend everyone to get it I personally have iTunes version and the actual cd signed by Dilana ;) - this lady is an example of hard work, great powerful voice and her personality towards her fans is incredible such down to earth person. And that is reflected on this album were she tattoo her soul and mind, incredible lyrics and great choice of music. Personal favorites - Dead Flower, Day by Day and Until Death. Dilana Rocks!!!!
