I'm amazed this only has 20 reviews, not at all surprised they are all 5 stars. This is real music in a modern world of electronic, synthesised "music". I sound like a old guy but I'm in my 20's, haha!

Written and recorded in both their hometown in Wales and in a cabin just outside Portland, ME, The Joy Formidable's sophomore effort is another fantastic record. Imagine the Smashing Pumpkins at their peak with stunning female vocals. Power, aggression and force are balanced by beauty, insight and an interesting fascination with Native American mythology.
- They never disappoint me.

The Joy Formidable could be the most underrated band. They are insanely talented and put on sublime live shows. And Wolf’s Law is one of the best albums of the year (still listen to it regularly after nine months). This, their EP and The Big Roar are just incredible, jammed full of arrangements that will make you wonder how they did it. TJF is my go-to band when I want to be creative.
- Worth it.

This is one talented group. Their style transcends genre, the patterns and sound is mind-blowing, I could listen to this album straight thru, replay it, and never get sick of it. This is a gem.
