There are so many catchy lyrics, riffs and beats on this album--I'm currently addicted to this record as I have been at some point with all the other LJ offerings in the past. These songs make you want to move, and shake your "#1 Bum." And "We Go Back" is beautiful. Wow, I'm so happy they've reunited! Hope I get to see them live soon! Great album!

LJ's return did not disappoint...they knocked it out of the park! My favorite track is 'So Rock On' but the more I listen to the album, the more I grow to love each song...great job, ladies!

It seemed like forever since the last Luscious Jackson CD back in ... what? 99? 2000? But hearing Magic Hour, it's like no time has passed at all. Just like having a long lost friend back in your life. The CD is perfect and picks up right where the daughters of the kaos left off. Let's hope the next one comes out soon, because the world isn't right without Luscious Jackson keeping the beat.

Their original sound and feel has not been compromised, but they have managed to make an album that can be labeled as “2013.” So great to hear them again, but with new music. AND…so lucky to be in Philadelphia to see them back together.

It's like a Greatest Hits album, blending the styles of Natural Ingredients, Fever In Fever Out, and Electric Honey, all into 10 tracks. It feels like LJ had fun making this album. Disappointing that it's only 30 minutes long, but if this is just the beginning of more to come, then I'm OK with it.
