The debut album from Neck Deep is such a huge step forward for then from their first two EPs. Vocally, Ben sounds better than ever, really starting to come into his voice. Lyrically, it's a step up from their early material, but still dealing with growing up, identitiy, pain, etc. Instrumentally, the riffs are great, the hooks are awesome. Very catchy record with good production. I love every song on this record, but my favorites inbclude: "Crushing Grief (No Remedy)", "Staircase Wit", "Growing Pains", and "Losing Teeth". Buy this album and support this band. They will hopefully be around for a very, very long time.

This band has had much better releases. It was a very underwhelming debut.

Best band around. Awesome live shows. Great lyrics. Catchy melodies. 13 songs. 8 bucks. Nuff said. Big thanks to the band for making such great music at a price that makes it possible for me to order another pizza tonight, listen to some amazing pop punk, kick back with my friends, never sell out, defend pop punk, and dream about getting out of this town xD Buy the album. Its amazing.

Crushing grief and growing pains are good, otherwise the rest is much of the same stuff. Kind of disappointing based on how good rain in July was

i love the EP's but after listening to this album frequently on a daily basis, going back to the earlier releases makes me realize how much better ben sounds on the album. autotuned or not, this is a great album and definitely worth a listen
