I first heard Behind the Waterfall in 1987 while driving home from the grocery store. It was 1255 am and it was raining. The radio hosts were determined to get all their comments in and talked over the first minute of music. It was so beautiful that I didn't care. I didn't find out until much later that they were playing a 45 rpm record at 33 rpm. This greatly increased the difficulty of locating my new favorite song. It took over 18 months but I found it. Since then I have been collecting all the beautiful music I can afford.

I remember hearing Behind the Waterfall as a child to a laser show at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. I was full of wonder and the pops of this song stuck with me for years. It is also part of the laser show at the Grand Coulee Dam but I never knew the name until Shazam came along. So glad to have it in my library now!
