If you or your kids like pirates this is a must have. These guys are so talented and entertaining it's amazing. They Really should have their own TV show. They are terrific!

We bought this for our boys - "Pieces of 8ight" comes over the speakers and they both start jumping while yelling some sort of primal toddler pirate call. They ask for it over and over. I concur that the lyrics are very clever. Plus, it doesn't sound like goofy kids music but it is for kids. A++++++. I predict these guys will have a children's television show within the next couple of years.

I first saw this band at a school fund-raiser. I was amazed to see a mosh pit of toddlers, school-aged kids. and adults bouncing to "I am a Pirate", "Pieces of Eight", and the crowd favorite, "Nellie the Elaphant." Although I bought the album for my children, but I admit listening to it when they are not around, and have not found a weak song on "Pegleg Tango."

Like many, I stumbled accross this album when planning a pirate birthday party. Since July, however, it has remained on my favorites list along with my U2, Keane, Oingo Boingo, and others. Captain Bogg and Salty are one of the coolest bands out there, and I guarantee you'll listen to this album (and their others!) over and over again.
  • Great fun for kids and adults!

I downloaded this album for my childrens' pirate party. The music is just plain fun! The lyrics are amazingly clever, and it has great entertainment value for young & old. You'll be cracking up a lot & wanting to dance. Hope to see more from this group.

We just saw Captain Bogg and Salty at the Portland Rose Festival. What a wonderful band for the whole family! I bought this album at the show because I knew I would have their songs running through my head for the next few days.

This is the best pirate rock ever. My husband and I love them just as much as my 3 year old daughter. It's a great change from the nauseating Wiggles.
