...as far as EPs go. Just download 'Disco Sheets' and 'Lousy Pictures' and buy 'Apologies to the Queen Mary' to get the other two songs. And voila! You are now officially a 'Wolf Parade' fan. Welcome to some of the best music the planet has ever heard!

Yeah "Disco Sheets" and "Lousy Pictures" are awesome. This first to though, save for the album "Apologies to the Queen Mary".
  • Finally, something good these days.

Much better than music today. (ahem, mostly High School Musical.) ratings: Ranked 1 through 5 stars Shine a light: 4/5 pretty good. still better than, ahem, High School Musical You're a runner: 4.9/5 second favorite on the EP. Disco Sheets: 3.4/5 kind of cool. But least favorite on the EP. lousy pictures: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,007/5 That good. (if you didn't see it, look at the rating.) Sorry Disney, but you've all lost to this and tokyo police club. Except for Jonas Brothers. Still love their music.

im really surprised that only five people have review this EP. Wolf Parade is a truly amazing and different band. the album is my favorite release of 2005, and the two songs here that aren't on it are two of their best, although not as good as modern world. Rock on Wolf Parade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really dig this EP. Only four songs, but it's worth it. Shine a Light is simply a fantastic song, and I wonder why Lousy Pictures didn't make the album... it's one of their best songs. Interesting drum parts and nice bass lines come together with the hushed guitars and the raggedy vocals. They're a wonderful band though, and I really enjoy them. I bought the album and its been shoved into my CD player many, many times.

Another 80s throw back with good vibes. At least I'll call it that -- since I grew up on prog, punk, then post punk. This is a happier Interpol. It has good hooks, great vibe, and just sounds fresher than most other popular music which seems to rehash, well I'm not sure... Lousy Pictures is a great tune. I heard this album while poking my head in a local record store. I was with my son so couldn't make a purchase. This EP is a great introduction and I'll go back and buy the new full album now.

The EP is put together pretty well. Fav. song is one not on the new album Apologies for the Queen Mary... "Disco Sheets" for its sarcastic energy...
