You could call this metal, but it sounds like classic punk rock to me!!! Not that nu-punk, wannabe crap everyone else is doing today. 15 songs in 30 minutes...FANTASTIC!!! Imagine Monster Magnet doing covers of Motorhead songs. Barely a break between songs before the next smashes into your face. And the best album cover ever!

If you like high energy metal that doesn't make you want to go kick a puppy or kill yourself, listen to Zeke...NOW! These guys bring the intensity with sludgy guitar and gruff vocals. Why aren't they everywhere?
  • An exponential leap in quality for an amazing band

TACOMA based (not Seattle, alternative press) rawk band Zeke drops the hammer on its best record yet. Felchtone's got a voice for heavy rock - a strangled gravelly bark that counterpoints the punishing drums and excellent heavy guitar and bass work perfectly. The guitar and bass makes for a wall of noise that makes it impossible to believe this is a trio, while the drums just don't quit. This is one to crank in the garage while getting the panhead chopper up and running, or tuning the big bore big block muscle car you're restoring, before rinsing the grease off your tattoos, taking a few shots of whiskey, and going out looking for some moshing and fighting. Rock is not dead. There are still some bands making it happen and keeping it real. This disk CANNOT get a higher rating, cause it just doesn't get ANY better than this. If you think you knew Zeke, give this one a listen.

Another full throttle recording from one of the best in hard rock! YEAH! Zeke's production sound seems to differ from album to album, but Zeke always Kicks You In The Teeth.
