If you liked this album then one composer you should really check out is Yiruma. His music is similar and very relaxing. You'll love him if you like Michael Hanna.

With this album, Hanna has created the most beautiful solo piano collection I have ever heard. He plays with passion, to the extent you can almost feel it yourself. He is a true talent.

As a newcomer to the world of solo piano, I have found that Michael Hanna has a gift that is truly inspired from heaven. 'Of Those Now Gone' has moved me like no other music I have ever heard; I am continually captivated by it each time I listen. Try listening to 'Elizabeth' without a stirring or longing in your spirit. I cannot put into words how this CD has captured something divine only a true artist is capable of. Thanks Michael for sharing your gift!
  • A New George Winston?

I have been a fan of Windham Hill piano music for years, especially that of George Winston. Michael Hanna came highly recommended to me by a friend, but I was skeptical when I saw that the michaelhannamusic website calls Michael "A George Winston For a New Generation." But after listening to some of his music, however, I quickly changed my tune! Hanna truly has his own style, but the peaceful calm and beautiful melodies reminded me of the first time I put on Winston's "Winter into Spring." I especially recommend "Cavendish" and "Until We Meet Again," and the folksongs "Loch Lomond" and "Shenandoah."
