Reviews

  • How about the English version?

Many artists recorded this song in English, so why can't you get the English version for us? Perry Como sang it, Hank Snow sang it, and Marlene Dietrich sang it. I'd like to hear a male vocal in English singing it because that's the way I remember it as a little girl!!!

It sounds like this artist recorded this album in his living room. Poor quality.
  • Good party fun

Like the other reviewer I was looking for an Oktoberfest party mix. This did the trick. It has that quintisential German/Polka sound and is totally unmistakable for what the fun album it is.
  • Love it or hate it, this is THE Oktoberfest album

I was looking around for some music to play at an Oktoberfest party, and this album has it all. The accordian/tuba/clarinet sound is unmistakably German and the recognizable favorites (from the Chicken Dance to Edelweiss) make this a perfect soundtrack to your German Biergarten. And with 25 songs for only $10, you gotta go with this one.
