I'm somewhat ashamed to admit this, but I've never written a review on here. I consider myself a music snob and think that exceptional music should be the norm, not the exception. This album is simply about four notches above anything else I've heard in a long time. This guy is incredible. He covers these songs incredibly well. Well done, very well done. A must for any Lennon/McCartney disciple.

I have this album on my itunes and play it constantly. It's great to have as background music or to listen to in the car. I highly recommend it.

I read the reviews before buying the album. And on first listen I thought that maybe some were correct. Obviously, LJ's "Can't Buy Me Love" is slower than the original, and of course they are not as good as the Real Deal (The Beatles). And maybe the other reviewer is correct and I should pick just my favorites( how can you tell in 20 secs). But it didn't take me long (I'm not called the Pretender on the Fender for naught) to fall under Laurence Jubers' spell. He is a talented Artist on solo guitar playing the Beatles songs with Soul. Highly Recommended!

Laurence Juber's talent hits you in the face like a cool spray of perfumed water. He tackles a glorious, energetic song like "Can't Buy Me Love" and manages to transform it into a dirge-like, mournful lounge number. Get out your smoking jacket and relax to marvelous Beatles compositions magically turned from gold into lead.

Saw Laurence at Beatlefest in Chicago and he blew me away. All his albums demostrate his distinct style and sounds like I am at his show again! Great musician. If you like acoustic guitar music, you MUST have LJ in your collection.

LJ's arrangements are top-notch and his guitar playing is clean. However, the playing is often too subdued on many songs, and the sound of DADGAD tuning gets a little old after a couple of songs. It's worth buying a song or two that you like from the album. Thanks to I-Tunes, we can do that.

Laurence Juber is simply one of the greatest guitarists of our time as he demonstrates nowhere better than on this beautiful salute to The Beatles. Hard to believe only one person is playing as he combines melodic chords and superb intricate finger work with a bass that seems improbable for a human hand to accomplish. It was a delight to finally see him play and meet him at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in Dallas. Wish I had my copy of the CD with me for him to autograph but it was enough to thank him for teaching me through his arrangements how to play better myself and shake his hand. What a nice guy and oh so incredibly talented!
