  • Superior album

I have purchased every album by Seabound, but this one shows musical progression and restraint. What could have been an excess of synths and beats has been intelligently reassessed and repurposed to become very refined, very progressive, showing evolution and refinement.

This is one excellent album. Matured intelligent electronic - if you would like to say. This release is toned down a bit from previous releases. This album contains well written lyrics. Slight Edge Of Dawn influences scattered amongst the tracs. Best to enjoy this album alone with a glass of wine. It's is good to hear a wonderful band grow more intelligent throughout the years. I know for a fact this album took a considerable amount of time complete. Kudos Seabound for a job well done!

It's been 8 years since Seabound's last proper album, but you wouldn't know it with Speak In Storms. The purely electronic soundscapes mixed with the melancholy vocals of Frank Spinath have never sounded better, even if a few too many of the songs are spacey and down-tempo for my taste. Definitely check out For Another Day, Everything, and Nothing But Love--all excellent tracks.
