  • A "Lost" Album Return To Form

Referred to as the "lost" album because it was never released in the North America - until now - RENDEZVOUS was a return to form for Christopher Cross after his last two major label, synth heavy albums. Cross, along with co-writer/co-producer/keyboardist Rob Meurer created a beautiful collection of songs that show Christopher's artistic compass could indeed find it's way with spectacular results. A cohesive thread runs through the journey that is RENDEZVOUS -- Highights include the title track, the Steely Dan-ish groove of "Deputy Dan", the sweeping ballad "Is There Something", as well as the graceful knowledge of "A Fisherman's Tale". The album is also is a who's who of the best session musicians of the day including Robbie Buchanan, Lenny Castro, Tim Pierce and the last album appearance of the late, great drummer Jeff Porcaro. Music lovers will like this album a lot... Cross fans will wonder how this diamond escaped their grasp for so long.
