DO NOT BUY THIS WHOLE ALBUM, if you like poppy music you will like it, my personal opinion: i like punk and ska which goldfinger did in their previous albums. only 2 or 3 of the songs here are good so dont buy the whole thing, wait for their album coming out in the spring.

I'm not sure how this has a higher rating than "Open Your Eyes." Don't get me wrong, OYE wasn't that great either, but this is worse. I don't think there is one track on here that I can say I enjoy the whole way through...except maybe "Stalker" because of it's humor.

Kelly the bas player of this band is a teacher at the school of rock that I go to. He said that the person that wanted this album was the lead singer and the band did wan't it

This is my first Goldfinger album. I understand that it is nothing like thier older ones. It's not that bad - I like some pop. 'Damaged' is probably the best song on the album. Don't listen to 'Behind The Mask', it's a joke.

I like the new Goldfinger. To show my appreciation, I've included an album review for those considering this album. -My Everything-5/5-Awesome riff and good energy. -Wasted-6/5-Best song on the CD. Flogging Molly's mandolin player plays on here. -Ocean Size-4/5-Okay song, it bores me a little, but is still good. -Uncomfortable-2/5-Worst song on here. Probably because it's slower than others. -Too Many Nights-5/5-Great song. Great Cowbell. Cool lyrics. -Damaged-3/5-OK song. Haunting tune and good lyrics. -Behind The Mask-4/5-Cool song. Period. -I Want-5/5-Good energy. Good to play in a band. -Iron Fist-5/5-A shot at the government. -Walk Away-4/5-Cool song. Nice lyrics. -Faith-4/5-Lost gem on the CD. Cool song. Not cool the 400th time. -Stalker-6/5-Awesome Song. To anyone who is considering buying the album, let me assist you, BUY IT! To those who wish to get a small taste, buy Wasted and Stalker first.
  • Good, but not in the eyes of the old songs

These songs really are solid. Paulson leaving the band is terrible; after hearing his awesome skills in such songs 99 red balloons and my head it's sad to see he's gone. But while the new instrument sounding isn't nearly as good, the drums now stick out and as do Feldmann's lyrics, but now the band's gone to yet another style: this one is really poppish. But, well, that's how GF is, going from ska to punk and now to pop. Still good, and I'd really have liked it a lot better if hadn't heard the old GF stuff: don't buy the whole thing: my everything, iron fist, and wasted are the ones that really stand out in my opinion.

I love Goldfinger, they are one of my favorite bands right now, but i really dislike this cd. It is seriously lacking one of the things that made goldfinger great: energy. Also the other thing that made me dislike this cd was the whole vegan/vegitarian thing. In Open Your Eyes it was a theme of the cd (and I thought it was cool the way they were speaking their minds). But here it is force fed to you, making it a very uncomfortable listen, if you are not vegitarian, that is. Still there are some good songs, but the whole theme kind of ruined it for me.
