Though originally by Lykke Li, Marika’s cover of “I Follow Rivers” is one of the most beautifully haunting covers I’ve ever heard. As a fan of Lykke Li, I have to say that I prefer Marika’s bone chilling cover, which gives the song almost completely new meaning. I have thousands of songs on my iPod, I Follow Rivers by Marika has easily been on repeat. This EP was worth every single penny. Shame the world has no idea how insanely talented Marika Hackman truly is. I’m glad to have come across her music on soundcloud.
