The Young Dubliners “Nine” album was highly worth the wait. They are definitely the hardest working and most brilliant band since U2. Their Irish Rock style, individuality and high energy cannot be matched! Song after song "The Dubs", lift the spirit. My favorite song on “Nine“, has to be “We the Mighty”, no wait, “Rain”, no wait, “Abhainn Mor”, no wait, “Fall”, no wait, “One Touch”, no wait, “Up in the Air”… Aaaahh, check it out for yourself and you will hear why it is so hard to choose

It's been a long and rocky road but after hearing this album it made me feel guilty. Clearly I don't deserve such melodies, such instrumentals, such ah screw it. It's amazing!

I saw the Dub's the first time at Stubb's opening (YES, OPENING) for another band that I loved so it was just luck that I stumbled across them (so I want to thank "Soulhat" for the intro). Alive Alive O was the first CD I ever bought from a band I saw at a club. I had to run all over the city to find an ATM and by the time I got back to Stub's the band had packed BUT, given the nature of these guys, they took me to the truck, climbed in the back, dug around until they found a CD, and viola! Now Here we are many years and several albums later and they have never missed a beat! Every album they do get's better and better! I really started off liking "We the Mighty" but I have to say from a musical and lyrical standpoint I am absolutely in love with "Rain". If you have never heard the dub's you should absolutely find a show in your area and go, they are the best live band you may ever see! Everyone I have ever sent to a Dub's show around the country has thanked me ever since! You won't find a better group of guys anywhere either! 9 is a fantastic album full of incredible music and it proves, once again, that these guys are a true Rock band! Let the music live on!!!!!

The Young Dubliners hit it out of the ballpark with this latest album! You won't be disappointed!

Nine is fantastic! This record has so much of the bands heart in it, it comes through in every song. From the raw emotion of "Say Anything" to the wicked excitement of "We the Mighty" I cannot get enough of "Nine." Thanks Guys!

This is an excellent CD from one of the hardest working road bands in the country. The Dubs keep pushing the musical envelope with each succeeding release, and this CD does not disappoint. The Dubs are a great band to see live because it's readily apparent they are having a blast playing live music.

9 was definitely worth the wait! It's got everything you could want for a Celtic infused rock back-catchy tunes with an Irish flair, great musical variety and a good solid album. Don't wait to buy this one, get it now!
