Hello everyone! You may or may not know what a "plug" is but this is the first review that isn't one. Whoo ha! Now lets pretend that we don't know Proops is a hack, just for a second. Why then would the man take tired jokes, throw in some arbitrary expletives and then say them into a microphone that was evidently, covered by a styrofoam cup? IT'S A MYSTERY! This is not edgy material people. This is a recording of a deceased horse being beaten by a goofy man with glasses.

The Divine Mr. P proves, once again, that he is not afraid to confront an audience with some unpleasant, but truthful, observations about life, politics and the world in general. That he is hyterically funny in the process of making you think is a tribute to his talent. Speaking of talent, though: Greg's must include a Talent for Survival -- because how he got out of Texas alive after this Huston performance would otherwise be a mystery.

Greg Proops fears no stage, fears not of offending listeners -- he strikes directly at all that is ridiculous in a world overrun by idiots, and lets you know it's OK to laugh at it. He doesn't spoon-feed your comedy to you, and you'll be very appreciative to discover his ascerbic and hilarious worldview. "Live In Houston" is an excellent approximation of what it's like to see him live (which I strongly suggest you do if you get the chance). Not recommended for the politically-challenged, Fox News enthusiasts and, as we've seen, Jessica Simpson fans.
