So Hopeless re-relased their first two EPs with 2014 remastered versions. Honestly, they sound almost the same, so really it was just a way to complie them together as a full-length album. I bought it anyway cause I love and support this band and I have an OCD with having full discographies. Vocally, this is still fetus Neck Deep, so Ben still sounds raw. It took me a while to gel with his voice. Instrumentally, these tracks are good to show how far they've come. They are not as catchy or accessible, but decent for the new-wave of pop-punk that is more aggressive. Lyrically, pretty good––your typical themes of love and pain and leaving home and indentity, and reget, etc. There isn't really any filler on here, but my favorite tracks include: "Up in Smoke", "A Part of Me" , "Head to the Ground", and "Silver Lining". But this only if you don't have the individual EPs, otherwise it's not a must-have. Good songs nonetheless.

Neck Deep is one of the best pop punk bands out there, without a doubt. This album is amazing as well as their second album, WIshful Thinking. If you want to hear an amzing pop punk album, check out Neck Deep and for even more fun, check them out live

Why did they try to improve rain in July it was perfect the way it was. I liked the rerecorded version of "what did you expect" on losing teeth more than the original, but this is a bit unnecessary.

It sounds a lot clearer. Both versions are super. I'm gonna get this on CD instead. But wow this is a great remastered/remix version. Oh & you can hear the bass better too.
  • So nice I bought it twice

These two EPs are absolutely amazing and really deserved to be remixed/remastered. They sound so clear now! ND did a great job.

Just as good as the original EPs, if not better. Re-recorded drums, louder bass (which is awesome because their music before was always a little tinny), and some reverb on certain guitar parts. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the cheesy guitar slide at the beginning of Silver Lining, but other than that, this is a great purchase if you're a fan of Neck Deep!
