Oh Matt Wertz, you did it again. Another album that I can listen to nonstop with the windows down. Big fan for 9 years and you never disappoint!

I’ve been a Wertz fan since Twenty-Three Places and his albums have been a huge influence to me. I’ve happily bought (and re-bought) everything he’s ever put out and seen his shows, but the last few years it seems like he’s bored with the style of music that made him successful. Heatwave was fine, but Old Flames seems like a cash grab. Paying full price for mostly live tracks of Heatwave 8 months after it’s release? No thanks. Just put out the extra tracks as an EP. I’m disappointed because he’s always been one of my favorite artists. With the recent standout releases from Ben Rector & Andrew Ripp as well as the mainstream success of Dave Barnes, Wertz is in danger of getting left behind in terms of relevancy.

The live stuff has so much energy! And I love hearing the other pieces of the record that didn't quite got the image, but that are still great! Sie pie.

From the second I heard the first track ,this record had my attention with its catchy melodies, fun arrangements and sincere sounding lyrics!! worth every cent .

Another Matt Wertz album to love! Who needs sleep when you can listen to this on repeat all night. Can't wait to listen all summer to this great collection and mix of terrific music.
