great response to the first reviews ... and now an album available if you check the reviews (but why not on the first page). A great bargain, a great cause .... thanks ITunes.

This cd was just released January 2006 and even tho I-Tunes is only showing the partial release it is actually only missing one song from the cd - - ‘Til A Tear Becomes A Rose -John Prine and Fiona Prine with Dermot Byrne. Listening to the samples here and on the cd I still think this is a great deal for the download. The cd is $17 plus shipping. A beautiful compilation that will introduce listeners to a broad range of performers they may not have been exposed to otherwise. Listening to it makes me feel good and the "cause" only increases the pleasure.

Even if this CD wasn't for such a worthy cause, it is still a musical joy from start to finish. This is not merely a case of artists donating existing tracks to the project but many of them are brand new recordings. Then the artists handed over the songs to be moulded by the production team who added artists from the other side of the world. The end result makes this one of the most imaginative, musically original and moving CDs to be released in many years. This one deserves a grammy more than any of the 2006 nominees
