Rough rhymes, raw beats---Just Ice, Schooly D and Ice T were the first gangster hip hop artists. NWA is the first commercial gangsta rap. NWA took it to another level in terms of sales.
  • On the most realist tip!

There is no doubt that Just Ice and KRS - One throw down the gaunlet with this album setting the highest standard for real Hip Hop. This is it! As an old-head myself, there when it dropped, I knew then I was hearing the ultimate -- and it still is. Long before the west coast tried to get "hard" with their gangsta rap the east coast had it allll going on. Even brother Ice T was schooled on this stuff and helped take the authentic feel of real hip hop to the west. This is by far THE best true Hip Hop album one could have in there collection. Let the masters take ya back.

This is a must for the Old School Hip-Hop fan. Its a classic not many people knew or know about. Just-Ice has the flow and delivery that brought hip hop to life. KOOL AND DEADLY is the perfect title to this album.
