Chase the Sun

Saw GH open for Vintage Trouble and was blown away...killer melodies and great storytelling...but this album!

This song was used during a touching video montage tribute to the late wrestling legend ROWDY RODDY PIPER on an 8/3/15 episode of WWE Raw. For those non wrestling fans, Roddy was one of the biggest and most influential names in the history of professional wrestling and passed away suddenly at the age of 61. I found this song to be both very touching and fitting not just for a man who was loved and who entertained millions over the years, but a song that holds an obvious message for all of us. Because of this song I have "discovered" Greg Holden's music and have become a fan. Thanks Greg Holden for a beautiful song, and thank you HOT ROD for the memories!

As soon as I get some iTunes cards I will be this album!!! Heard it on spotify and I fell in love with it! Greg is doing a great job and he is definitely going places. Congratulations!!!

Shazamed his music in Barnes and Noble. Never heard such positive lyrics, I believe he started a new genre.

This album is great! My personal favorite tracks is “Hold on Tight” and “Free Again.” All tracks are great, though I was a little surprised that “boys in the street” is the 2nd most popular song on iTunes, because it is probably my least favorite of the album. To each their own though. I would recommend this album to anyone.

About a year (or so) ago, I watched the movie, "Chasing Mavericks." As the final credits rolled, and music played in the background, it caught my attention. THAT'S when I discovered Greg Holden. The song is "I Need an Energy." I now have all his albums. I've listened to "Chase the Sun" a couple of times now and I think Greg hits a higher mark here than on his other albums. I don't play for the other team, however, as a father, the song, "Boys In The Street" literally brough tears to my eyes. If you're reading this, I'm sure you're a Greg Holden fan. If you're not a fan and you're reading this, give his music a chance. Serendipity can open your world to some really special music.

Amazing. Great songs, amazing lyrics.

I was listen to my local NPR newstation, and he was featured on the little bit of "World Cafe", and I fell in love with his voice! Absolutely amazing, the guitar, the voice, the lyrics. Bought the newest album right away!

Lovely album-- you can't help but feel good when you listen to it. From Boys in the Street to Free Again, it's all so good!
