Ever since going solo after discovering his new Christian faith, Neal Morse has put out many epic Prog albums under his name, and not a single one has been bad! The man is truly a master of modern Progressive Rock. Now we have this new album which holds true to the "experiment" in it's title. Because for the first time ever, he has gone into the studio with no pre-written material. He was much more open to the suggestions of the other members suggestions. The end result: success. In the music you can hear solos reminiscent of Kansas and chorus's reminiscent of Styx. The music sounds much different than anything he has done, in result giving the material a new and original sound which is a nice change from the old. In conclusion: the album is definitely worth it. "The call" and "alive again" are two masterpieces that history will never forget. God bless you, Neal! The Lord smiles upon you and your wonderful music!

This guy has been the new voice in Prog for me anyway for the last few years. There are some really good Prog bands out there but Neil keeps putting out great stuff whether it be with Transatlanic with Mike Portnoy or solo with Mike.
