Parachute: Live from Brooklyn Bowl

Parachute: it's an album the guys of guster aren't especially proud of these days. You may not hear many of these songs (save for a couple staples) at a current guster show, but that doesn't make parachute any less of an important album for this group. Released in 1993, it was just the beginning of their burgeoning music career. This particular live recording was taken from their 20th anniversary show for the album at the Brooklyn bowl in nyc in 2013. It's not my personal favorite guster album either, but the live performance really adds a certain energy to the songs. So much so that when I want to listen to parachute, I'll listen to this live recording instead of the studio version.
