So let's address the elephant in the room. Most of Sevin's albums have an explicit lyrics label slapped on it. I have purchased these and listened to them through several times. There isn't any curse words used in the any of his lyrics, but he and his featured artists do use the N word. This isn't used in the the original derogatory meaning that the word originated in, rather it is used in the context of brotherhood many African American/Black artists and people in the Hip-Hop culture and urban communities. This might be a hang up for some, but honestly Sevin doesn't use his music to glorify negativity or boast on himself. Rather he uses it to address the raw issues Christians and the ghetto community face while constantly pointing us towards to Jesus and encouraging us to press on and glorify God. Don't be quick to judge him, there are many who are willing to preach from the pulpit, but there are few who are willing to leave the safety of their church building and take it to the war zones of the streets. This is secular garbage incognito as Christian music. Look closely and listen closer. First off, It's labeled explicit content on the album cover and the things they rap about is charismatic at its finest level. There's no real message of the gospel or Christ crucified or even repentance in their lyrics. It's just "feel good music". There is no substance of Christ here.

This is my favorite album ever!!! I love sevin!! His songs deserve to be $1.29 and he so deserves to be more popular with such amazing talent. Nuthin like Godly Rap with some gangsta in it. LOVE IT!!!!

The music is totally dope, but more than that these cats are bold in their faith yet are some of the most humble, generous, and approachable people I've ever met. They do what they do to serve and help others and have "been there and done that" themselves. Support these cats by showing up, buying their albums, and praying for their cause. They're out there in the war zone making a real difference. Help them out and enjoy a little dippin and bangin in the process!
